Susan Sowers has worked as a Digital FX

Artist/TV Broadcast Designer on Barney

and Francesco’s Friendly World, as well

as for Fox News, Fox Sports, NBC, and ABC.

Susan holds a BFA in Graphic Design.

She has enjoyed teaching computers to

preschoolers and still loves to play

with Playdoh.

As a career creative professional, Susan's

stories most often came alive through her

artwork rather than words. Dotsie Bug was

born first through words, but now has been

brought to life by the magical talents of

Tate Publishing's own illustrator,

Kathy Hoyt!

Susan Sowers was born in Dallas, Texas

and grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She moved back to her home state a

number of years ago and lives in

Plano, Texas.
